We depend heavily on volunteer power. You do not need to have horse experience, and training is provided. Smiles are never in short order on Tuesday and Thursday nights at the Circle H Stables! Volunteers assist with checking in riders, fitting boots and helmets, escorting riders to the mounting ramp, mounting riders on the horses, leading horses, sidewalking with riders, as well as brushing and saddling horses. We have positions both inside the arena, and outside the arena. Not comfortable around horses? We still have a place for you!
Each year dozens of volunteers and interns are needed to make S.T.A.R.S. happen!

We also have volunteer opportunities in the off-season helping with fundraisers and other publicity events.
While we appreciate all our volunteers, we understand that they may have other commitments. We appreciate any time commitment that is offered. Training is provided in orientation sessions and also throughout the riding season individually as needed. If you missed the last orientation, we'll still gladly accept your help and get you up to speed quickly. We do ask that you can attend the next available orientation/training and refer to your Training Manual for your safety as well as the safety of the participants, horses, and other volunteers.
